Half day biking to visit traditional villages and Lak 11 waterfall

This tour gives you the opportunity to see how some people around Oudomxay town make their living. It is a great opportunity to explore the area of Oudomxay.

Tour details

The tour starts at Samlaan Cycling Office in Oudomxay town at 6.30 am. We will cycle to the local market where you will meet local people that come to sell all types of foods, animals, vegetables which they collected the day before.

After visiting the market we will cycle along the road to LuangPrabang. After 3 km we will turn off to visit Lue, Hmong and Khmu villages where you will see how they make noodles (handmade) and distill Lao Lao (also called lao whiskey). You will taste some Lao Lao before we cycle back to the main road and continue riding to Lak 11 waterfall. At the waterfall you can relax and enjoy the peaceful and nice scenery before we speed down hill back to your Hotel.
