3 days cycling from Oudomxay to LuangPrabang passing Pakmong or vice versa
This challenge tour will lead you through the winding and hilly road to the world heritage town LuangPrabang, en route you will be welcome to learn about the Hmong culture and their daily life who make use of the nature to earn their living.
Tour Detail
Day 1: The tour will start from the Samlaan Cycling office at 6.30 am. We will head south of Oudomxay. Starting from km 5 we will have 15 km of winding road up hill followed by 5 km down hill before we will have a short break for tea or coffee at km 21. After tea break we will continue with some rolling and climbing another 12 km before we will have lunch at the roadside.
After lunch we will have another 8 km up hill to the Hmong Village Ban ChongCha where we will stay in a small local guesthouse or home stay.

Day 2: After a Hmong style breakfast and short walk around the village, we will continue our riding on the undulating road before we will have a 25 km decent followed by another undulating road part before arriving in Pakmong where we will have lunch. After lunch we will continue on a quite flat section to a small authentic Lao village where we will stay over night at home stay.

Day 3: This is an easy day. After breakfast we will take a short walk around the village, then we will head on to LuangPrabang through the very beautiful scenery of mountains a long the Ou river. Lunch will be served on the roadside. There are some short climbs during the mid day, we will arrive in LuangPrabang after 4.30 pm.
